The Arc of Owensboro is a private non-profit agency started over 55 years ago by a group of parents to assist individuals with disabilities.

Our mission is to provide vocational and daily living oriented training to adults with disabilities, increasing their social and vocational independence as well as the ability to independently participate in the community. We advocate for civil rights and services to enable achievement of independence.

Adult Day Training - Providing skills training in the areas of: 

  • daily living skills

  • socialization skills

  • work skills training

  • community involvement 

Community Living Supports - Providing support so individuals can:

  • learn skills in the home

  • expand leisure pursuits

  • access the community

  • learn skills for the community

Advocacy Services  - For the civil rights and provision of services for persons with disabilities and their families or caregivers. In collaboration with:

  • The Arc of the United States

  • The Arc of Kentucky

  • Other associations  

Case Management Services-  Providing Conflict Free Case Management services for people utilizing the SCL or Michele P. Waivers.
